Pam Pender is a piano teacher, pianist and flutist who teaches independently out of her Oakville, Ontario home. Pam began her teaching career in 2002 after a successful career as a Public Health Nurse in Scarborough, London, Oxford and Peel regions. Her nursing work focused on children, children's and parent's issues in addition to other health related matters. For the last 18 years, she has been teaching piano to students of all ages.
Pam's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and an Honours Bachelor of Music, majoring in piano. She is in the process of completing her ARCT in piano pedagogy.
She plays the flute at an advanced level. Pam has also worked as an accompanist with her piano skills. She currently plays in a band and sings in a local choir. She is a student of the Celtic harp.
Pam is a certified MYC® music teacher. Pam values continuing education and keeps her skills up to date.
